Azalia Snail is an American avant-garde singer-songwriter and musician.[1] She is a multi-instrumentalist active in neo-psychedelia, psychedelic folk, and indie rock,[2][3] played a prominent role in the 1990s lo-fi music scene,[4] and was dubbed the "Queen of Lo-Fi".[3] She is one half of the duo LoveyDove.
Snail recorded eleven solo albums between 1990 and 2006[1][needs update] and has written film scores for several indie features and short films.[4] She has toured the United States, Europe, and Australasia.
In 2000, she won the Los Angeles LA Weekly Music Award for Best New-Genre/Uncategorizable Artist.[5]
