Attabad Lake Gojal (Urdu: عطا آباد جھیل) is a lake located in the Gojal region of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It was formed in January 2010 due to a significant landslide in Attabad.[1][2] The lake offers a diverse range of activities, from boating, jet-skiing, and fishing to various winter sports, attracting attention year-round.[3]

The lake submerged the local highway, and all traffic had to be shipped on barges until a new road tunnel was opened for traffic in September 2015.
