Arunee Nanthiwat (Thai: อรุณี นันทิวาส) is a Thai voice actress who has been works for Channel 9, TIGA, and Dream Express (DEX).
Arunee's major roles include Suneo Honekawa in Doraemon, Conan Edogawa, Sonoko Suzuki in Detective Conan in 1999–2021, Nico Robin, and Tony Tony Chopper In One Piece.[1] She won the TV Gold Award in 1995 for Best Actress for the role of Hagemaru Hageda in Tsurupika Hagemaru.[2]
On 28 August 2021, Arunee announced her indefinite hiatus from voice acting career as the COVID-19 pandemic hit the Thailand. Quarantine rules and her works were cancelled.[3] In August 2022, she has returned to the voice acting career by dubbing the One Piece Film: Red and Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars 2021.[4] Although she has terminated all her work for TV anime series, she is still dubbing only for Doraemon (both TV series and movies).
