Alvin Glenn Davis (born September 9, 1960), nicknamed "Mr. Mariner",[1][2] is an American former Major League Baseball first baseman and designated hitter. He played eight of his nine seasons for the Seattle Mariners and won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 1984.[3]
