Alston Records was an American record label founded by Henry Stone and Steve Alaimo in 1964 that went bankrupt in 1981.[1] Artists previously on its roster include Bill Pursell,[1] Betty Wright,[2] The Beginning of the End ("Funky Nassau"),[1] Jimmy "Bo" Horne,[2] Clarence Reid,[2] Timmy Thomas[2] and Sam & Dave.[1]
