Alfred Douglas Price, Sr. (1860–1921) also known as A. D. Price, was an African American businessman and community leader in the late 19th-century and early 20th-century in Richmond, Virginia.[1][2] He owned a blacksmith shop, funeral home, and a livery. Price was one of the largest African American real estate owners in his city and the A.D. Price Funeral Home is now a national historic site.[3]
