Aleksandr Sergeyevich Kosopkin (Russian: Александр Сергеевич Косопкин; 1 June 1957 - 9 January 2009), was a Russian statesman who had served as the Plenipotentiary Representative in the State Duma. He had the federal state civilian service rank of 1st class Active State Councillor of the Russian Federation.[1]

He was a candidate of psychological sciences.[2]
