Alan Saville (31 December 1946 – 19 June 2016) was a British archaeologist and museum curator.[1][2]
Saville is best known for his "ground-breaking"'[2] and "meticulous"[1] excavations of the Neolithic Hazleton North long barrow near Hazleton in Gloucestershire, undertaken between 1979 and 1982.
