Akpanoluo Ikpong Ikpong Ette NNOM (23 September 1929 - 17 September 2018) was a Nigerian Professor of Physics and former secretary and vice-president of the Nigerian Academy of Science.[1]
In 1991, he was elected President of the Nigerian Academy of Science to succeed Professor Caleb Olaniyan.[2] In 2003, he received the highest academic award in Nigeria, the Nigerian National Order of Merit Award.[3]
