Adamson University (Filipino: Pamantasang Adamson; AdU or ADU) is a private Catholic university operated by the Congregation of the Mission located in Manila, Philippines. The university has academic programs in graduate school, law, the liberal arts, sciences, engineering, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, business administration, and education, as well as secondary, elementary, and preschool. It is one of the universities in the country to receive an autonomous status by the Commission on Higher Education.[3]
Adamson University has been regularly included in the rankings of top universities in the Philippines. It was included in the top 201+ universities in Asia in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings in multiple occasions, such as in 2022, where it placed 651+ mark. Recently, Adamson University soared to the Top 5 Universities in the Philippines according to the QS Asia University Rankings 2024, climbing to the 551-600 rank. [4][5][6][7][8][9]
The university is a member of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. In its 80th season, the university won first place in the cheerdancing competition.[10]
