Aaron Charles Donald[1] (born May 23, 1991) is an American former football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams franchise. He is regarded as one of the greatest defensive players of all time.[2][3][4]
Donald played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers, where he won the Bronko Nagurski, Outland, and Bill Willis trophies and the Chuck Bednarik and Lombardi awards as senior. He was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, spending his first two seasons with the team in St. Louis and his remaining eight in Los Angeles. During his NFL career, Donald was named Defensive Player of the Year a record three times, along with receiving Pro Bowl selections in all ten of his seasons and eight first-team All-Pro honors. Donald was also a member of the team that won Super Bowl LVI.
