The 2021 Hungarian Figure Skating Championships took place on 18–19 December 2020 in Budapest. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and pair skating on the senior level. The results were used to choose the Hungarian teams to the 2021 World Championships.
The Hungarian National Skating Federation decided the Hungarian figure skaters did not compete in the 2021 Four Nationals Figure Skating Championships, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the complicated travel route to Cieszyn. It replaced the National Championships in Budapest behind closed doors and only with 4 men, 3 women and one pair competitors. The Hungarian ice dance pairs could not arrive back to the country at that time for their organized competition at the 2021 Junior National Championship.[1][2][3][4]
The 2021 Junior National Championship took place on 4-7 February 2021 in Budapest. Skaters competed in disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles on junior, advanced novice, intermediate novice, basic novice, cubs, mini cubs, chicks and mini chicks level; of ice dancing on senior, junior, advanced novice, intermediate novice, basic novice, cubs and mini cubs level; of synchronized skating on senior, junior, basic novice, pre-juvenile, juvenile, adult and mixed-age level.[5]
