The 2009 Sultan Qaboos Cup was the 37th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup (Arabic: كأس السلطان قابوس), the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman.

The competition began on 25 September 2009 with the Round of 32 and concluded on 7 December 2009. Al-Suwaiq Club were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2008. Saham SC were crowned the champions of the 2009 Sultan Qaboos Cup, winning the title for the first time. They defeated Dhofar S.C.S.C. 7–6 on penalties after the match had ended 2-2 after extra time.[1]
