The 2009 Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils football team represented Mississippi Valley State University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 2009 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by eighth-year head coach Willie Totten, the Delta Devils compiled an overall record of 3–8 and a mark of 1–6 in conference play, tying for fourth place in the SWAC East Division. Coach Totten resigned after the end of the season, the Delta Devils' third straight three-win season.[1]
