The 1997 Russian Figure Skating Championships (Russian: Чемпионат России по фигурному катанию на коньках 1997) took place in Moscow from December 26 to 29, 1996. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The results were one of the criteria used to pick the Russian teams to the 1997 World Championships and the 1997 European Championships.
