The 1958 Rose Bowl was the 44th edition of the college football bowl game, played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Wednesday, January 1. The heavily-favored Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big Ten Conference defeated the Oregon Webfoots of the Pacific Coast Conference by a score of 10–7.[4][5][6][7]
Oregon quarterback Jack Crabtree was named the Player of the Game,[5] one of only two players in Rose Bowl history from a losing team to win the award outright.[8]
