The 1949 Millsaps Majors football team represented Millsaps College as a member of the Dixie Conference during the 1949 college football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Doby Bartling the Majors compiled an overall record of 2–5 with a mark of 0–4 in conference play, placing last out of six teams in the Dixie Conference. Millsaps employed the T formation on offense.[1] Millsaps played home games at Tiger Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi.
