Once you’re online, you can easily switch your status to “Do Not disturb”. Doing so will prevent your Xbox from sending you notifications, messages, or even invitations to chat with you. In this way, your Xbox will look like it is online and no one will notice that you’re not available. However, there are times when you may want to be completely hidden, and you need to be able to block all distractions.
Once you’re logged into the Xbox app, you can change your profile icon and profile picture. To do this, click “appear offline” and change your avatar’s name.
